After the "Grilled Cheese Sandwich" fire of 2015 that burned down numerous homes, including Velvetta's considering he's the one that started it in an attempt to run a self employed home restaurant, Velvetta gave up the restaurant business for stealing to survive the bad ecomomy that forced hundreds of Monte Vista locals to give up their dreams and pop tarts. He wants to become a firefighter to gain better success at robbing Sims home to save money to escape poverty and build a Nectary!
